It's time to call them what they are.

A big upload has just happened, this time containing mutli-coloured cameos and intagios.

The only people I carve are long-dead, so most of my gemstone work is animal intaglio jewellery.

I have a semi Roman-style gemstone necklace; a sardonyx horse cameo pendant, a turquoise cat intaglio pendant, a rock crystal squirrel and a black jasper snake intaglio, all hand-carved in the UK. By myself, I'm not outsourcing this shit.

Rock crystal is a favourite of mine for reverse intaglio stone carving since it allows me to work in more detail. Run, Rabbit! is a 16mm rock crystal intaglio disc in a silver setting, while the extra detail on my skull cameo is in the setting itself; a fox holding a skull carving with an articulated tail.
