Gold Vermeil Fox necklace

Given that it has been my logo for 15 years, it felt like a stunning oversight not to have produced a fox pendant necklace before now.

The original master design was sculpted in polymer clay. Fine wire was twisted into a four-legged armature, and building up small amounts of material to its skeleton allowed me to achieve a new level of detail.

It was moulded and then cast in 925 Sterling Silver using the lost wax method and plated in 22k gold.

This fox necklace joins the ranks of my ‘Accidental Urban Filth’ collection, sitting alongside cat vomit earrings, rat necklaces and pigeon head stud earrings. What can I say? Home is where the fur is.

To avoid scratches, store your jewellery separately in its box.

All gold-plated jewellery is 925 Sterling Silver plated in 3 microns of gold.
Over time, gold plating will wear depending on how much it is worn. Avoid exposing your gold-plated jewellery to perfumes and cosmetics, as well as wearing your jewellery in the shower or in bed. Friction from bed sheets and cleaning can wear down the plate.

For a small cost, you can return your item to Candice to have it re-plated.
