I thought, as I carved this from wax, that this would make the perfect charm holder, the perfect solution to those weird gem doughnuts I keep buying that I want to turn into earrings. The perfect vehicle for other things.

As it turned out, people only want the hand, on its own. Not loaded with anything bigger or more colourful. They don't need to elaborate in mixed materials.

This is all they want, all they need: just a little pinch.
