Medium: Enamel on tinplate toy

This tiny tinplate yo-yo was made in Japan and has the bright colourway of interchangeable spinning top toys. The colours are so saturated that I wanted to paint with them instead of over them; the tight spiral is now a striped snake, and my trademark skeletons are framed by the existing flower shape on the other side.
